The SSIF internal environment

  • The SSIF has a recruitment and succession planning policy that guarantees recruitment and retention of qualified personnel. However, It should be noted here that the SSIF has been under the umbrella of the Civil Service Bureau since 2012.
  • SSIF staff from departments and administrative levels are involved in formulating and defining the SSIF’s core strategy and reviewing and updating the Fund’s strategic plan and departments plans, which are also posted on the Fund’s internal website (Intranet).
  • The Fund sets a training plan for all employees at the beginning of each year based on their training needs.
  • The Fund prepares a staff satisfaction survey and takes corrective action to address weaknesses that emerge from analyzing the results of this survey.
  • The Fund provides for its employees the means of workplace comfort and safety within its premises.
  • The Fund holds workshops and lectures for all employees on laws and regulations related to the Fund’s work.
  • The Fund’s employees are subscribed in the health care program of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
  • The Fund is attentive to organize, through Social Activities Committee, activities that enhance bonding between the staff.
The Environment
The Fund is committed to implementing the SSIF Social Responsibility strategy, which springs from the Fund’s core values. One of the main pillars of the core values is contributing to the sustainable development of society and the environment. The Fund worked diligently to create a positive internal environment and to continuously apply environmentally friendly projects, and in 2014 it was awarded first place as the best government sector to apply a paper recycling program by the Jordan Environment Society. The Fund also launched in 2009, in cooperation with the Jordan Environment Society, the environment-friendly offices project which aims to rationalize paper consumption and provide an efficient, healthy and environment-friendly work environment for SSIF employees.
