Infrastructure:

The Fund owns shares in companies that are contribute in improving the Infrastructure : Unified Transportation Center, Royal Jordanian Airlines National Aviation Company and Industrial Zones Company.
 

Banks:

The Fund owns shares in Arab Bank, Housing Bank for Trade and Finance , Jordan Ahli Bank, Commercial Bank, Jordan Kuwaiti Bank, Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank, Cairo Amman Bank, Arab Jordan Investment Bank and Capital Bank..

Industry:

The Fund owns shares in Arab Potash Corporation , Jordan  Phosphate  Mines Company, Jordan Refinery Company, Dar Al Dawa (pharmaceutical industry)
Tourism Sector:
The Fund owns a huge portfolio in hospitality sector through direct and indirect investments. The National Company of Tourism Development ( NTD) - a wholly owned company – is the investment arm of the Fund  in the hospitality sector.
The NTD supervises a number of 4 and 5 stars hotels and a number of rest houses that are located in different touristic places in addition to the Fund’s commercial buildings in Amman and Aqaba.  
Development Areas:
Daman Co. for Development Areas is a private equity company that is wholly   owned by Social Security Investment Fund. The company was established in 2009 to be the Fund’s investment arm to develop the infrastructure  and marketing plans for King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area / Mafraq and Irbid Development Area that were announced as development areas by a royal decree to distribute the development gains especially in promising areas outside Amman where poverty and unemployment rates are high.

International Investments :

To diversify the portfolio and mitigate the risk , the Fund has a small portfolio in the international markets :  Hikma pharmaceutical Company ( listed in London Exchange) in addition to 2 investments in Palestine Stock Exchange: Palestine Company for Development and Investment , Palestinian Telecommunications Company     

Private Equity Funds:

Foursan Capital Fund:
The Fund invests owns 22% of the capital of Foursan Fund. Foursan Fund invests in Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank, ATICO Group, Siniora Company and others.

Catalyst Fund:
It’s a private Equity Fund that invests in companies specialized in energy efficiency, power saving and renewable energy in Jordan and GCC.
The Fund owns around 28% of the capital of Catalyst Fund. Catalyst Fund invests in Millennium Energy Industries Company and Tercel Oilfield Company Products.
