Duties of the Chief Executive Officer

Under Article (5-A) of the Social Security Investment Fund and Investment Board Bylaw, which was issued under Article (8) Paragraph (C), Article (14) Paragraph (D), and Article (106) paragraph (A) of the Social Security Law No. 1 for the year 2014, Chief Executive Officer of the Social Security Investment Fund shall have the following principal duties and powers:

  1. Implement Social Security Investment Board decisions, oversee the Social Security Investment Fund and follow-up on its performance of its duties.
  2. Follow-up on plans and programs necessary for implementing the overall investment policy and the overall investment plan approved by the Social Security Corporation Board of Directors.
  3. Prepare the Social Security Investment Fund draft annual budget and present it to the Social Security Investment Board for further submission to the Social Security Corporation Board of Directors for approval.
  4. Prepare the annual report on the Social Security Investment Fund’s activities, financial data related to its investment activities, and closing financial statements and submit them to the Social Security Investment Board for further submission to the Social Security Corporation Board of Directors for approval.
  5. Prepare reports on the Social Security Investment Fund’s work related to its financial position and present them to the Social Security Investment Board for further submission to the Social Security Corporation Board of Directors for approval.
  6. Sign agreements and contracts approved by the Social Security Investment Board.
