Water

The Social Security Investment Fund’s (SSIF) investment in the water sector reflects its focus on long-term strategic projects that generate attractive returns and grow social security funds, while strengthening water supply sustainability and supporting the national economy.
As part of this approach, SSIF established the National Company for Water Investments, wholly owned by the Social Security Corporation, to acquire a 15% stake in the National Water Carrier project company. SSIF will also directly finance the project through its participation in a consortium of Jordanian commercial banks.
